8th Grade

8th Grade Completion Criteria

In order to graduate from 8th grade and move on to high school, students must complete the following requirements:

  1. Successful completion of all 8th grade classes with a C- or better.
  2. Pass the Constitution test with a 70% or better (Students may take versions of the test until they pass).
  3. A project that focuses on a student’s interests. FCS encourages students to utilize research, writing and technology skills. Students will have the opportunity to present their projects at the end of the year.

An active Individual Educational Plan (IEP) or 504 Plan may modify all above requirements.
